- talk to three people a day - you can find them anywhere, in line at the store - great captive audience, at the doctor's office, shopping - find people anywhere and talk
- if someone is not interested smile and say thank you. Statistically you have just gotten closer that wonderful YES. Give them your card and ask if they know of someone else who might be interested.
- tell you story - if you don't have one yet then tell the story of someone you know
- believe in your product - if you don't then who will?
- keep business cards handy
- if you have it carry small sample of your product
- find your why - in other words why are you doing what you do. Is it to have a few extra dollars? Go on a trip? Pay off bills? Put someone through college? Be debt free? Find your why and tell it to others.
- Network with other people in your business. See what makes them successful
- Listen to team phone calls or attend team functions
- find 2-3 good people to come on board and with some businesses, like the Limu Company, they will help you build a team that can bring you a steady six figure income
- return emails and phone calls
- don't be afraid of the close - have someone help until you feel comfortable doing it yourself
- use social media
- most important - stay connected

Direct Selling with a Home Based Business and Network Marketing
I have stated this is a blog about the trials and tribulations of being your own boss in your own home based business, no matter which business you choose. I have been active in the past, over 20 years ago past, with Avon, Tupperware, Sara Coventry and who I think is the best of the best - The Limu Company.
